The Florida Lung Doctors and staff applaud all of you who have expressed your gratitude for our work here at the Florida Lung, Asthma & Sleep Center. Understandably we can not print all of our patient’s wonderful notes and letters of gratitude, but we would like to share part of a letter recently received in honor of Dr. Alabi and Dr. Umeh as well as Dr. Gowan:

“Dear Dr. Alabi,

My name is Fred Ross and I’m writing on behalf of of my wife Bernetta Ross. My wife was in the intensive care unit of Celebration Health from October 23 through October 27. We were in room 306. First I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart because the care you and Dr. Umeh along with Dr. Gowan extended was truly a godsend blessing. What you did for my wife and the care and concern showed me during this trying time can never be repaid other than to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You had told us that if we could not find a pulmonologist in the Melbourne area we were happy with, we should get a hold of you. My wife and I have talked it over and want to come back to see you for a follow-up visit. I can tell you it is been two weeks and two days since her release and I feel like she’s doing fantastic and her local family doctor is happy with her progress but as I said we would like a follow-up with you so that you can do a good thorough examination of her and tell us what we need to do for the future”….

Indeed, the Holiday Season  provides a great time  for the Florida Lung, Asthma & Sleep Specialists to express our appreciation for the faith and gratitude expressed by our clients.  We are introducing a new section of our Resource Pages at left, called Mail Call, a place where we can share and honor client communication all year long.  You will find the rest of the Ross’ letter there.

We were also delighted to find a wonderful thank you memo that reached out to the staff as well as the doctors, in this month’s “Mail Bag.”

My mom and I wanted to say a “heartfelt” thank you to Dr. Alabi and all of you in the office for your hard work and dedication. It shows in your attitude and generosity everytime we step foot in your office or make a phone call. You go above and beyond. Thank you for not forgetting what you do or what you went to school for. You all “Rock”. Continue being who you are it means more than words can express.

Thanks again. LeighAnn and Pauline Swain
