Dr. Shiva Arjun is trained in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine, with a special interest in complex pulmonary conditions and critical care. He received his Bachelor of Science from McMaster University in Canada and his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the American University of the Caribbean, graduating with honors at the top of his class.

Dr. Arjun completed his medical training in New York, including residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Nassau University Medical Center, affiliated with Stony Brook University School of Medicine, with additional training at Montefiore Medical Center and Northwell Health Long Island Jewish Hospital. He has received numerous awards, including Resident Physician of the Year and professionalism awards, and served in a leadership role as Chief Fellow.

Dr. Arjun excels in procedures such as Bronchoscopy, Endobronchial Ultrasound, Thoracentesis, and Indwelling PleurX catheter placement. He is deeply involved in medical research, presenting at numerous national and regional conferences, publishing in prestigious peer-reviewed medical journals, and receiving multiple research awards. Dr. Arjun is an active member of the American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, and Society of Critical Care Medicine.
