Dr Hammad Bhatti is a board certified Pulmonologist and Intensivist. Born and raised in Pakistan, he obtained his medical school degree from King Edward Medical College in 2005, followed by residency in Internal Medicine at Queens Hospital Center New York (2007-2010). After completing fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at University of Florida, Jacksonville in 2014, he joined Orlando VA medical Center. In October 2016, he was appointed as the Chief of Critical Care service at Orlando VA. It was quite challenging to grow this new ICU but perhaps the most daunting task was to lead ICU team through COVID-19 pandemic. He joined VA Tele-ICU program in June 2022. He has been married to his wife Maryam for sixteen years and they have four beautiful children.
