In his practice, Fred has served as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Central Florida School of Medicine. He has served also as the Chairman of Medicine and Medical director of Intensive Care Unit at Adventhealth Hospital Celebration Florida and trained in Internal Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit Michigan. He completed a Pulmonary and Critical care fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation Cleveland. Prior to coming to the USA he completed a General Medicine training in the United Kingdom where he is also board-certified.
My special interests include difficult asthma, chronic cough, allergic medicine, perioperative medicine, COPD, sarcoidosis, lung nodules, and dyspnea evaluation.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. Fred’s special clinical interests include Asthma, Allergies, Sarcoidosis, Lung Cancer, Chronic Cough, COPD and Sleep Disorders.
Dr. Umeh holds a medical degree from the University of Nigeria College of Medicine and trained at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his fellowship training at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to coming to the USA, he completed a residency in England.
